THE PICO AT MIRANDOLA
Mirandola is rich in a lot of monuments, which differently remember the Pico family. This one ruled, for about four centuries, a small seigniory of the Po area, located in a strategically important position. The Pico were able to keep well-balanced relationships with the other Italian states and managed to establish a living and brilliant court.
The remainings in the city of what was created by the Pico, also represent a celebration and legitimation of the power of the Family.
